Which Course is Right for Me?

Stoic Preparatory Course (Ages 14–18)

Restricted to children and family of alumni, or teens recommended by alumni with parental consent. This course provides a Certificate of Completion.

Stoic Essential Studies (SES)

Most adults begin with Stoic Essential Studies (SES), a 16-week foundational course. Alternatively, in some cases, people start with one of our specialized tracks (8–11 weeks): On Heraclitus, Stoic Cosmic Consciousness, or Stoic Nursing. All courses provide a Certificate of Completion.

The Marcus Aurelius Program (MAP)

Our flagship 12-month curriculum consists of four consecutive courses. In addition to individual course completion certificates, graduates are awarded the title of Fellow of the College of Stoic Philosophers (FCSP).

Faculty Path

MAP graduates who seek to join our faculty must complete at least one elective (On Heraclitus, Stoic Cosmic Consciousness, or Stoic Nursing) and be recommended by prior mentors. Qualified applicants will undertake a 16-week+ Faculty Practicum.
