Judith Stove is a writer based in Sydney, Australia. A student of Stoicism, Latin and Greek languages, literature and history, she has been a co-organiser of Stoicon-X Melbourne (2022-), and recently of the first Stoicon-X Sydney (2026-). She is the facilitator of the online group New Southern Star Stoics, which has explored the four central virtues and other Stoic themes. Her third book, Marcus Aurelius and His Legacy: Seeking Rome’s Kingdom of Gold, which traces the legacies of Marcus Aurelius through literature, material remains, and culture, appeared in 2025.
Judith’s writings on literature, history, and ancient philosophy have appeared in Antigone Journal, Stoicism Today, and The Stoic Philosopher, e-journal of the College. She attempts to put Stoic principles into lived practice.
