Mark Stary is a musician (Guitar, Harmonica, Singer-Songwriter), therapy dog teacher (Canine Inspired Change), podcaster (Minnesota Music Shakedown), and portrait artist. Apart from his family and friends, his intellectual interests include traditional Stoicism, Heraclitus, and panpsychism/pantheism. Mark has been a Stoic since 2018. He joined the faculty in 2021, and developed the “On Heraclitus” course in 2023. Mark lives in St Paul, Minnesota, with his fiancée, two golden retrievers and a cat. He travels back and forth between Wisconsin and Minnesota performing music and teaching.
