Jamie Guinn

Jamie Guinn, FCSP

Jamie began studying Stoicism in 2016. He completed the Stoic Essential Studies (SES) course in 2019 and completed the Marcus Aurelius Program (MAP) in 2023.

As an avid reader, he enjoys reading mostly about history, philosophy, and leadership, but will occasionally read some fiction. His favorite book is the Discourses of Epictetus.

He enjoys hiking, running, rucking, functional fitness workouts, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is also a collector of wise and funny quotes. His favorite is by Marcus Aurelius. “Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.” (Meditations 10.16). 

Jamie has lived in Oklahoma all his life. He is married and is a father. He has worked professionally over the last twenty years in law enforcement. He studied education in college.
